My name is Rosa. I am originally from Brazil. However, I have been living in America for over three years. I attended University in Brazil where I got my major in History and my minor in Education. In America I was studying at the College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas to fulfill my Special Education license.
As a history teacher, I really like to learn about and experience cultures abroad. I have never been to Asia before, so when I decided to come to Anqing Foreign Language School I saw a big opportunity to get to know a whole new world.
Here, I teach American Culture for the study abroad classes and English for Junior High and Primary. I learned English using lots of music and movies, so I truly believe that English can be fun.
As far as China goes, I love the food here and the Chinese people are unbelievably warm and friendly. So far, I’m having a great time.
