          Unit3  Let’s celebrate

          The teaching aims:

          The aims of the knowledge is to learn something about Halloween and to master important language points.

          The aims of the abilities is to improve the abilities of getting information by scanning the abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

          The teaching emphasis:

          To get the ability of general reading and acquiring information.

          To master vital phrases and sentence structures.

          The teaching difficulties:

          Some usage of prepositions.

          Some set phrases and sentsnces.

          The teaching methods:

             Teach the students by the five teaching steps gradually to empasize the contents. The teacher is to act a guide and the students as an actor to do the activities.

            The teaching aids:

             Projector, tape recorder and pictures.

            The tesching procedures:

             Step Greeting

             Step  Review

             Show Ss some pictures to review some different festivals and ask Ss what the festivals are and what we do for the festivals.

             Step  Pre-reading

          Show Ss some pictures about Halloween and ask Ss some questions according to these pictures.

          Ask Ss when Halloween is.(November 1st)

          Ask Ss to listen to a letter from Wendy to Millie and do the True or False.

          People in the USA usually have a party on October 30th to celebrate Halloween.        F

          Wendy and her friends often play “trick or treat”

              at Halloween.                     ( T)

             Wendy and her friends always paint their faces at   Halloween.                           (F)

          People in the USA make lanterns out of oranges.(F)

            教學(xué)反思:牛津英語教學(xué)是以任務(wù)型學(xué)習(xí)為基礎(chǔ),以學(xué)生為主體,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生語言交際能力的新型教學(xué)模式。牛津英語的教學(xué)理念是以學(xué)生為主體進行學(xué)習(xí),在老師教學(xué)過程中要注重與學(xué)生的交流,讓學(xué)生去學(xué)會學(xué)習(xí),調(diào)動和發(fā)揮學(xué)生的主體性,培養(yǎng)他們的語言交際能力。在教學(xué)過程中,注重與學(xué)生的交流,開展以學(xué)生為中心的互動式教學(xué)。但是本堂課還是沒有充分發(fā)揮學(xué)生的主動性,沒有讓學(xué)生做主人。課堂容量過大,而且沒有顧及到每個學(xué)生,致使有的學(xué)生被冷落。
